Not a webshop
Gamechecker is an information service and price comparison site. We do not sell products, process payments or act as a party in purchases you make via our site. All transactions take place with the relevant webshop.
Prices and availability
Prices, shipping costs, stock status and product descriptions come from external webshops. What you see on Gamechecker is an indication based on recently fetched data. That data may be outdated or incorrect — for example because a shop just changed a price or shipping rate, or a product sold out.
Always verify the current price, shipping costs and availability on the webshop's website before purchasing. Gamechecker does not guarantee completeness, accuracy or timeliness of displayed information and is not a party to your purchase.
External links
Links to webshops take you to third-party websites. We are not responsible for content, prices, delivery, return policies or privacy practices of those sites. Use of external websites is subject to the relevant webshop's terms. Every click-out includes standard source parameters (e.g. utm_source=gamechecker) so webshops can recognise traffic from Gamechecker in their own analytics. This is not affiliate tracking and does not earn us commission.

Currently Gamechecker has <strong>no active affiliate partnerships</strong> and we do not earn commission on purchases. Links to webshops are direct referrals, with source parameters (UTM) for traffic attribution — see “External links” above.

Gamechecker currently has no paid partner placements.
Intellectual property
Game names, cover images and product information belong to the respective rights holders and webshops. Cover images and game metadata are partially provided by <a href="https://www.igdb.com">IGDB</a>. Gamechecker claims no ownership of third-party game content or trademarks.
Scraping and data collection
Gamechecker collects publicly available product information via automated requests to webshops. Our scrapers:
- identify themselves with the X-Gamechecker-Bot header and a contact address (From);
- where needed use a common browser User-Agent, because some shops block pure bot agents — combined with the bot identification above so webmasters can recognise us;
- respect each webshop's robots.txt policy (disallowed paths are skipped);
- use delays between requests and respect any Crawl-delay to limit load on webshops;
- collect only product and price information visible to visitors (no behind-the-scenes accounts or private data).
Webshop owners can request exclusion or a crawl-rate change via info@gamechecker.eu. We aim to process legitimate requests within 48 hours.

Public API
We're working on a public, self-service API with the same catalog and price history data as Gamechecker. It is not open yet.
